Memory Integrity On versus Off For Gaming | Windows 11 Memory Integrity Benchmark

In this video we’ll be testing the performance impact that core isolation, or memory integrity, in Windows 11 has on gaming. Core Isolation is a newly introduced security feature that can be manually disabled (it is on by default) and can improve your framerates by up to 15% when disabled.

In this video we’ll be testing Fortnite, Cyberpunk 2077, F1 2020 and Counter-Strike Global Offensive. I have chosen a few CPU heavy games, and then also enforced a CPU bottleneck in Cyberpunk, as core isolation has a much bigger impact when CPU bound.

I chose these 4 games because they have built-in benchmarks, and with Fortnite you are able to use replays for consistency. Each benchmark was run three times, and the video shows the best run out of all three for each game and setting.
